This has been very well received and is a landmark piece of work for the PLA. It has been circulated widely and has received informal judicial approval. It continues to be topical. The Protocol has been revised recently. Click on the Dilapidations Page for the current edition. The PLA encourages all members to implement the Protocol at least in spirit if not to the letter. Obviously it must be adapted to meet individual circumstances. We also ask members to encourage surveyors and others to adopt it. Feedback on its usefulness and value is important to us.
