Amanda Tipples QC has over 25 years’ experience of general chancery and commercial litigation, relating to areas such as general business disputes; real property and landlord and tenant; wills and probate, trusts, proprietary estoppel; partnership and LLP disputes; insolvency and corporate recovery; charities; VAT and duties.  She regularly appears in the Court of Appeal, the Chancery Division of the High Court and specialist tribunals.

Amanda took silk in 2011, was appointed as a Recorder (Crown Court) in 2009 and a Deputy High Court Judge (Chancery Division) in 2013.  She also acts as an arbitrator and as a mediator.

Amanda was the Chairman of the Chancery Bar Association and a member of the Bar Council from 2016 until July 2018.  She is also a Bencher of Lincoln’s Inn.
