In 2015 almost 90% of PLA members thought that the County Court Service was unfit for purpose. Less than 1% considered that the administration at the county court was good. Following that survey the Law Reform Committee has been in dialogue with courts and HMCTS in an effort to improve service. We are being told by them that the service has substantially improved. Anecdotally we are hearing that that may not be the case.
In order to test this we are re-running the original survey three years on to see if anything has improved. We would be grateful if as many members as possible could complete the survey. It should only take about 5 minutes. Please only answer in relation to your recent experiences, not those that would have applied in the original survey, as we are trying to judge whether things have improved in the last three years.
