PLA questions Government on the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Bill

The Law Reform Committee of the PLA has put a number of questions and requests for clarification to the Insolvency Service regarding the new Corporate Insolvency and Governance Bill published on 20 May 2020. In particular, concerns have been raised about potential uncertainties, unfairness and unintended consequences for property owners arising out of provisions relating to winding-up petitions, the moratorium, termination clauses in supply contracts and arrangements for companies in financial difficulty.
