PLA 2020 Autumn Trilogy

Sadly we were unable to proceed as planned with Part 3 of the Autumn Trilogy tomorrow due to the Tier 3 restrictions in London which have once again closed 1 Wimpole Street.

We know that members were looking forward to the event and, in particular, having the opportunity for a live Q&A session with Judge Elizabeth Cooke and Deputy President Martin Rodger QC.

With that in mind, we have decided to postpone Part 3 until the New Year when we can once again go ahead with a live-streamed event. We will continue monitoring restrictions closely and will announce the new date as soon as possible.

We do hope you enjoyed Parts 1 and 2 which were each watched live by over 400 PLA members!

For those who missed the live events, the recordings are both available to watch on Vimeo:

Autumn Trilogy Part 1 (featuring Jonathan Seitler QC and panel discussion with Kathryn Sowter, Liz Peace and Gary Lawrenson)

Autumn Trilogy Part 2 (featuring Raquel Agnello QC and Guy Fetherstonhaugh QC)

The slides and notes from Part 1 & Part 2:

Once again, thank you for your support and for all of the feedback submitted for Parts 1 and 2.

Finally, on behalf of the Education and Training Committee I wish you a very happy and healthy Christmas and we look forward to ‘seeing you’ for Part 3 in the New Year.

Best wishes
