The PBA joined forces with guests from the PLA on 17 March 2021 via Zoom to envision what the future might have in store for property litigation. Our panellists reviewed what the pandemic brought to the world of property law in 2020, and debate what may be yet to come.
Chaired by Brie Stevens-Hoare QC, Chair of the PBA, the panellists comprised two soon-to-be property silks and two leading property litigation solicitors:
Rebecca Campbell of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner
Rebecca is a Partner in BCLP’s Real Estate Disputes Group and Chair of the PLA Education and Training Committee.
Mark Reading of Mishcon de Reya
Mark is a Legal Director in Mishcon de Reya’s Real Estate Dispute Resolution Group and is the Chair of the PLA’s Website and Marketing Committee.
Catherine Taskis of Falcon Chambers
Catherine is a specialist property barrister at Falcon Chambers, a Fellow of CIArb and a Council member of the ALA. She has been recommended for appointment as QC in the 2020 Competition.
