TAKING OUT WHAT YOU PUT IN?

Speakers: Caroline Shea QC and Nathaniel Duckworth, Falcon Chambers
Chair: Nicholas Dowding QC

How should service charge provisions be construed and applied? To what extent can a “purposive” approach be applied?

Is there (or should there be) a difference between the approaches to commercial and to residential leases?

Caroline Shea QC and Nat Duckworth will consider the Court’s approach to service charge formulae and machinery and difficulties which arise in practice.

Cost: £70 + VAT for each Lecture (or £245 + VAT for all four Lectures) including
e-documentation, drinks and canapés.  Each Lecture qualifies for 1 ½ hours’ CPD.  All profits go to the Benevolent Associations of the Bar, The Law Society and the RICS.  These lively debates are an indispensable practical aid to all practitioners.
