Wellbeing sub-committee

PLA Wellbeing

The wellbeing of PLA members is paramount. The PLA’s wellbeing initiative was launched off the back of a survey of members, the response to which made it clear more support in this area would be welcomed. Since then, the importance of wellbeing has been brought into even sharper focus during the Coronavirus pandemic.

To support its members, the PLA has offered a series of online wellbeing sessions aimed at providing tools to help with managing the shift in the way PLA members now balance work and home-life. The PLA Wellbeing Sub-Committee will continue its programme of seminars and hopes to hold an in-person panel event in Autumn 2021.  In addition, the PLA Wellbeing Sub-Committee is exploring the possibility of setting up a member support network.
