This May, PLA Chair Mark Reading and Vice Chair Rebecca Campbell will be attending the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum – or UKREiiF – the most important event in the UK property industry calendar, to represent the views of PLA members.

The PLA Annual Conference 2024 was held at Keble College, Oxford, on 22 March. The speakers have made their slides and notes available to members.

The 1954 Act – a breakdown for juniors This online session by James Tipler and Mark Galtrey of Falcon Chambers focussed on the nuts and bolts of the ’54 Act – when it applies, what it does, and how it works – explaining key case law and recent developments that practitioners need to be aware of, as well as potential pitfalls, touching on both opposed and unopposed business lease renewals.
