Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion committee was established to provide members with support, guidance and resources to help the PLA and its membership become more representative of the firms and wider communities that we all serve.

Our objective is to raise awareness and improve equity, diversity and inclusion amongst property litigation professionals.

Our aim is to ensure that irrespective of background and other personal characteristics, race, gender, religion, age, sexual preferences, or disability those with a passion for this area of law are supported and encouraged to fulfil their goals.

ED&I Mentoring Programme

As part of our objective to improve equity, diversity and inclusion amongst property litigation professionals, we are now offering property litigators an opportunity to obtain one on one guidance from one of our experienced practitioners.

This programme is aimed towards those who may be / feel restricted in the profession due to their background. Our mentors will have confidential discussions with you with the aim of developing your career in property litigation.

The programme will involve regular meetings with your chosen mentor (either in person or online) in order to understand the obstacles you are facing and how you may overcome those obstacles.

The ED&I Mentoring Programme is free to all PLA members.
