JPLA Midlands: Approaching dilapidations cases like a pro

JPLA Midlands: Approaching dilapidations cases like a pro

Whilst few dilapidations cases will make their way to trial, a party’s hand in negotiations is ultimately only as strong as its case at court would be. As such, in order to achieve favourable outcomes for clients, the approach taken from the moment a schedule of dilapidations is received is critical.

Harry Marriott, Eloise Marriott and Abigail Collier will explore some of the issues that are likely to arise in dilapidations claims and how to handle them. The session will explore issues such as:

a. Common wording of repairing covenants;
b. The difference between repairs and improvements;
c. Alterations; and
d. The evidential considerations that the same are likely to give rise to.

Registration is from 5.30pm for a 6pm prompt start. The session will finish at 7pm and be followed by networking drinks and nibbles.
