PLA x PBA: Northern Lights
A training and networking event in Leeds run in conjunction with Property Bar Association in the North.
It will be an event that will provide an opportunity for barristers, solicitors, surveyors and estate agents to network whilst hearing about the upcoming reforms of the Renters’ Rights Act.
The training will consist of the following:
Talks
Talk 1: What does the Renters’ Rights Act mean for investors, lenders and insurers? delivered by Eleanor d’Arcy and Kirsty Malloch from Exchange Chambers.
Talk 2: The Renters’ Rights Act for experts: valuation and building surveying delivered by Alice Richardson and Abigail Cheetham from Trinity Chambers.
Possession and Procedure panel discussion
Stephanie Jarron from Enterprise Chambers, a Judge, a solicitor plus someone from a local authority, will be joined by a panel of experts.
The training will take place in the beautiful surroundings of Holy Trinity Boar Lane, Leeds and there will be an opportunity for networking and drinks both before and after the talks.
Registration is from 2pm for a prompt start at 3pm. The event ends at 7pm.

Open to all solicitors, barristers, surveyors, estate agents and property trainees/ apprentices/ paralegals/pupils based in the North of England.
