Rates, Revaluation and Risk: Navigating Northern Ireland’s Business Reval 2026
Join Mark Elliott of RHM Commercial and Stuart Nevin for a practical, expert-led Reval 2026 briefing.
Land & Property Services published a draft Reval 2026 valuation list on 22 January 2026 which covered more than 75,000 non-domestic properties and presented an overall increase in NAV of approximately 15%.
The draft figures prompted significant concern, particularly in the hospitality sector and on 29 January 2026, shortly after publication of the draft list, the Finance Minister stopped further work on Reval 2026.
Mark Elliott will give a practical update on Northern Ireland’s Reval 2026, examining the valuation and market evidence behind the process, its potential impact across key business sectors, and the commercial and litigation fallout from the pause.
The session will consider what the draft outcomes mean for landlords, occupiers and their advisers, identify likely areas of dispute, and conclude with an opportunity for questions and discussion.
The discussion will be facilitated by PLA Northern Ireland Chair, Stuart Nevin.
Registration and a light lunch from 12.30pm for a prompt 1pm start. The session will finish at 2pm.
