NEW DATE The Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 – Refine, Reform or Reject? - in person
With the Law Commission’s consultation paper on reform of the 1954 Act expected by the end of the year, the PLA and PBA are hosting a panel debate to explore the pros and cons of the existing regime and how far (or not) the Law Commission should go in recommending reform.
The debate will be chaired by PLA President and Upper Tribunal Judge Elizabeth Cooke with a panel of speakers from across the industry including Mark Sefton KC, Benjamin Faulkner, Wilberforce Chambers, Danielle Drummond-Brassington, CMS, Professor Graham Chase and Paul Tonkin, Hogan Lovells. Attendees will have the opportunity to put their own questions to the panel either in advance or on the day.
Registration for in person attendance is from 6pm for a 6.15pm prompt start. The debate will finish at 7.15pm and be followed by networking drinks.
