A significant proportion of my practice is dedicated to property litigation, with particular expertise in adverse possession, boundary disputes, title issues, and land registration matters. I have extensive experience acting for both applicants and respondents in proceedings before the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber). In the recent case of Jonathan Paul Gray v Stephen John Tusz [2026] UKFTT 295 (PC), I successfully represented the applicant in obtaining title to land through adverse possession. My adverse possession work spans a wide range of property types and land interests. I have successfully secured title for clients in relation to woodland, a farm track, attic space, a public pathway, and multiple parcels of land that had historically been excluded from registered titles but formed part of clients' gardens and properties. In addition, I have acted successfully for a respondent opposing an application to amend a title plan, achieving a favourable outcome and preserving the client's registered title position. Through my substantial property litigation practice, I provide strategic and focused advice on complex land disputes, helping clients navigate contentious issues relating to ownership, boundaries, title defects, and land registration.
