The PLA is proud to announce the establishment of the Vivien King Memorial Grant. Vivien was a trailblazer, a dedicated professional, and a well-respected member of the PLA. In her memory, it is hoped that the Grant will support property litigators who may need financial assistance to fund their membership of the PLA and attendance at PLA and wider industry events. The County Court at Central London has published an updated guide to the Business and Property Work undertaken at the court.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government have published a consultation entitled “Strengthening Leasehold Protections over Charges and Services” dated 4 July 2025. The consultation itself is lengthy and includes over 200 questions. The Law Reform Committee has sought to identify the questions of most relevant to PLA members, so that we can prepare a summary response to the consultation on behalf of the PLA.
